Company Audition
with Alana Canela

Season 2 Company Auditions are open to dancers interested in becoming part of Canela Dance Company. We will be working within three tiers: Student Training Team, Amateur Team, and Semi-Professional Team, with dancers assigned based on skill level, experience, and overall performance.

Participants will be assessed on:

Technique: The execution and control of their movement, with attention to detail and form.

Performance Quality: The ability to convey emotion, energy, and musicality through movement.

Choreography Retention: The speed and accuracy with which you learn and perform new material.

Overall Presence: Confidence, stage awareness, and the ability to command attention in an audition setting.

This audition provides a professional environment where dancers will be evaluated in real time, allowing for an honest assessment of their abilities. It is designed to give you a clear understanding of the expectations and standards required to be part of the company.
